Concept site for a secondhand and rare bookshop: aged paper and ransom-note letters cut from old print. Headings assemble from scraps, the hero letters can be dragged around and the book of the week opens as you scroll.

Open in new tabA fictional bookshop in Bristol. Every letter is its own scrap of paper with its own typeface, colour and tilt. On first load the name is pasted letter by letter and then flies into the logo, and a mustard sheet carries the next page's name between pages. The shelf scrolls sideways and the books lean with your scroll speed, and the book of the week opens in 3D. Six pages, including filterable shelves with search and a book detail page. Covers are public domain scans from Wikimedia Commons. This is a concept: the shop does not exist.
