Into the quiet

Iceland, Greenland and Lofoten in groups of eight, with guides who live there.

Ice caves, aurora camps, glacier treks and fjords under sail. We go slowly, and we go where the noise stops.

Next departure Ice Caves of Vatnajökull, 8 Dec

We take eight people at a time into places that are better heard than seen. No coaches, no crowds, no hurry. Just ice, weather and the long northern light.

Five ways north

Every route runs four to six times a year. Groups fill early, so most guests enquire a season ahead.

The people who know the way

Four of our eleven guides. Each one leads no more than six trips a year, so they arrive rested and curious. Meet the team

What travellers say

Four days in, nobody was checking their phone. Einar had us lie on the ice and listen to the glacier crack. I still hear it.

Hanna L. Ice Caves of Vatnajökull, January 2026

By the second morning the skipper knew how each of us took our coffee. That is the size of group I want to travel in.

Tomás R. Lofoten Under Sail, August 2025

The aurora came at two in the morning. Sigrún knocked on every tent. Best alarm of my life.
