Harrow Agri has renewed its Perihel contract for five years, up from three, and will add a third multispectral satellite to its fleet next spring. The renewal is the first on the Constellation model.
Harrow's two satellites revisit each of its 410,000 hectares every 36 hours. With a third satellite the average falls to about 24 hours during the peak growing season.
The five-year term lowers Harrow's monthly fee by about 12 percent, in line with the published terms.
