Perihel's data API now follows the STAC 1.0 specification. Existing STAC clients can search scenes, read metadata and fetch cloud-optimised GeoTIFFs without custom code.
A Python client for tasking, with webhooks and polling, is available on PyPI. Both are documented on the data page. A sandbox serving sample scenes from each sensor is free on request.
The release follows requests from customers who had written their own wrappers around the earlier REST interface. The old endpoints keep working until the end of 2026.
